Book Sale

One of the largest book sales in eastern North Carolina will be held soon.  The annual Friends of the Brown Library Book Sale will take place at the Washington Civic Center, in historic Washington, on Friday, January 20, Saturday, January 21, and Sunday, January 22.

From cookbooks to history books, children's books to science fiction, visitors will have literally thousands of books from which to select.  All proceeds go directly to the Friends of the Brown Library organization, which, in turn, uses the money to support projects at the library.  This is one of the busiest Friends groups around!
