About Me

bardelf
I am a storyteller, bard, children's librarian, and ghost walk guide. I live in a 110-year old house just outside of Washington, North Carolina -- the first place in America named for George Washington. It's just up the road from our state's oldest town, Bath. Arr! I live in the land of pirates! These quotes sum me up pretty well: "My fathers knew of wind and tide and my blood is maritime" -- Stan Rogers *** and *** "I wonder if one of the most important steps along our journey is the one in which we throw away the map" -- Loreena McKennitt
